Mrs. Berning's Class

Since school has started we have learned the letters PUOMXADTSRHJ & the blend AR.  Please ask your child about these letters and have them tell you their sounds.  Throughout the course of the year Kindergarteners are expected to know all of the alphabet letters and their sounds.  Any rhyming books that you could read to your child would be extrememely helpful to their learning. 

We also have worked on the numbers 1-10.  Throughout the course of the year Kindergarteners are expected to recognize the numbers 1-20 and be able to count orally to 100.
